Physicals scheduled July 22
Sport Physicals for 2006-2007: Fall - Winter - Spring
All athletes need a physical before they may tryout for
a fall, winter or spring sport – if not done by the school
physician, then you will be required to get one from your
own physician. This is the only date the physician will be
at the school. There is NO make up date.
One Day Only: Saturday July 22, 2005
Cost: $10.00 payable at time pf physical to "Cumberland Valley"
Place: Cumberland Valley High School Training Room

Middle School: 7:30 AM - 8TH GRADE POLO MANAGERS DO NOT NEED PHYSICALS!!
Freshman: 8:30 AM
Sophomores: 9:15 AM
Juniors: 10:00 AM
Seniors: 10:15 AM
All athletes must pick up a physical form* before July 22nd - the form must be completely filled out, all questions answered and all parental signatures. A check (payable to CV Athletics) or cash for $10.00 also must be presented on the day of the physical. If any of the above is missing the athlete will not be permitted to have a physical. No forms will leave the Training Room after the physical.
*Forms are available at the Trainer and in the HS Office

Congratulations to Ashton Cline for being selected to the 1991/1992 NE Zone Cadet team.
Ashton will be traveling to Los Alamitos for the National Wonen's Cadet Selection Camp
over Memorial Day Weekend.
Congratulations to Callan Rowe and Amanda Skonezney for being selected to the 1989/1990 NE Zone Youth team.
Callan and Amanda will be traveling to Davis, CA for the National Women's Youth Selection Camp.

Shanna Allen (Sr.) finished the season with 22 goals and 29 assists. Finished career as Siena College leading scorer in goals (118) and assists (70).
Emily Campbell (Fr.) second leading scorer on Slippery Rock University with 45 goals and 25 assists.
Sara Kramer (Sr.), Stacey Travous (Jr.), Corey Travous (Jr.) All three helped lead Wagner College to a 25-14 record and a 2nd. place showing in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference(MAAC) tournament. Stacey Travous was named to the conference 1st team and had 72 goals and 21 assists. Twin sister Corey, a defensive specialist, contributed 10 goals and 12 assists. Sara Kramer pitched in with 49 goals and 32 assists and was named to the conference 2nd team.
Aubrey Rowe (Fr.) Helped Bucknell University to a 23-9 record and university best 4th place finish at the Eastern championships. Season totals of 58 goals and 21 assists. 1st Team Southern Conference and Collegiate Water Polo Assc. Eastern Conference Rookie of the year. Also named Bucknell University female Rookie of Year.

CV Water Polo Kicks Off It's Season - September 13, 2005
In a busy first week for Eagle Water Polo both the men's and women's teams finished with 4 wins and 2 losses. The CV
men defeated Reading 15-7, North Allegheny 9-6, Malvern 13-6, and Haverford 11-4 while losing to North Penn 5-12 and
Gov. Mifflin 3-16. Jon Gorski led the attack with 16 goals while Mike McCormick and James Buck tallied 9 scores each.
Tony Lauro added 7 goals while Jeremy Wright, Nate Morefield and Brad Dewalt also had multiple scores. Goalie Adam
Wenner recorded 31 saves. The CV girls were led by Rachel Sunday with 16 goals while Emily St. Omer Roy and Callan
Rowe added 9 scores each. Starters Amanda Skonezney, Jessica Easter and Anna Leggett also had multiple goals. Goalie
Kristen Spector had 35 saves. CV women defeated Reading 17-1, North Allegheny 13-4, Villa Maria 14-6, and Gov. Mifflin
9-5 while losing tight games to Erie McDowell 6-7 and North Penn 5-6 in overtime.

CV Water Polo Splits - September 20, 2005
The Cumberland Valley girls split their games this week, beating Wissahickon 14-2 while losing to Wilson 5-8.
Emily St. Omer Roy led the scoring with 5 goals while Rachel Sunday and Callan Rowe added 3 scores. Also scoring
were Jessica Easter, Amanda Skonezney, Alexis Cherewka, Tracy Sutphen and Erin Weiner. Goalie Kristen Spector
recorded 19 saves. The CV boys held on to defeat Wissahickon 11-10 while being outscored by Wilson 11-18. Jon
Gorski again led CV with 10 goals, while Mike McCormick and Tony Lauro added 5 and 4 goals respectively. Also
scoring were James Buck and Brad DeWalt. Freshman goalie Adam Wenner saved 21 shots.

CV 3rd at Beast of the East - September 24, 2005
The Cumberland Valley girls water polo team finished in a tie for third place in the annual Beast of the East
tournament at Wilson H.S. They defeated Lawrenceville Academy 10-6, Villa Maria 12-6 and Pottsville 8-5 before
falling to Wilson 4-9 in the semifinals. Emily St. Omer Roy and Rachel Sunday paced the scoring with 8 goals apiece,
while Jessica Easter and Callan Rowe each scored 5 times. Goals by Kristen Slovenkay, Kaitlyn Knott, Anna Leggett,
and Molly Podgurski rounded out CV's attack. Goalie Kristen Spector had a fine tournament with 25 saves. St. Omer Roy,
Sunday and Spector were named to the all-tournament team. The CV boys defeated Pottsville 7-3 before losing to
Erie Cathedral Prep 6-13 and national power Greenwich 3-14. Jon Gorski led the scoring with 7 goals while Mike
McCormick had 5 scores. Also scoring were Tony Lauro, James Buck and Brad DeWalt. Goalie Adam Wenner recorded
18 saves.

CV Water Polo - September 29, 2005
The CV girls won both of their games this week defeating Governer Mifflin 17-9 and Pottsville 12-3. Callan Rowe led
the scoring with 11 goals with Rachel Sunday netting 6. Jessica Easter and Emily St. Omer Roy scored 4 times each
with CV also getting goals from Anna Leggett and Alexis Cherewka. Goalie Kristen Spector recorded 20 saves. The CV
boys split their games defeating Pottsville 15-8 while losing to Governer Mifflin 7-17. Jon Gorski scored 7 times
while Tony Lauro, Mike McCormick, Greg Weiner, James Buck and Brad DeWalt had multiple goals. Tyler Prete added a
goal while goalie Adam Wenner saved 24 shots.

while losing to Souderton 7-10. Callan Rowe led the scoring with 16 goals while Anna Leggett, Erin Weiner, Rachel
Sunday, Jessica Easter, Emily St. Omer Roy, Alexis Cherewka and Tracy Sutphen had mutliple scores. Goalie Kristen
